Lego Steamboat Willie

A tribute design to classic cartoon intro.

The box packaging featured silver stamping print, which makes it look luxury feel.

I had assembled quite a few "big set" of Lego, and this is the first time i saw this grey brick seperator. Supposed to be orange color usually, its a little tune up to match with the Steamboat Willie theme color.

Mickey Mouse head sillhouette of little display frame. 1928 marks the debut years of Steamboat Willie, also year of Mickey Mouse's born.

Mickey Mouse comes with sailor hat, "THOR" hammer and a music score sheet.

Let me be frank, the mickey holding music score and with the hat makes me thinking of "chef recommendation promo" photo.

Minnie Mouse little flower on the hat is charming, the guitar or ukulele seems fine. Although the mold has been used on Disney Minifigures Series 1 and 2, and this set of lego still makes itself nice and unique since it comes with silverish printing on both Minifigures.

And this steamboat does not float, the packaging stated.

Pity Mickey have to sail the steamboat in this tiny narrow area.

The bad design in this set of Lego, no interior space, as u see above thats all you can do with it. And the cockpit is extremely narrow. Since it's released for Mickey's 90th Anniversary, it means you have to pay the money with more than the value of the set. This set priced @ RM450 for retail price, which i predicted would only be around RM350.
